Midnight "Potty" Run...

So last night or early this morning around 3am or so...I woke up because I had to pee! Lol! Which was one of my many midnight trips to the bathroom! Last night was a little different though, because as I came back from the bathroom, my phone was lit up! I was thinking "its 3 in the morning...it has to be RW!" Sure enough, he was on IM and sent me a message. He said I know you're sleeping but I thought I would say hi...he was surprised when I wrote him back! He was like, "you're supposed to be asleep!" Lol! We only chatted for a couple minutes because he had to go. I woke up this morning and had to check my phone because I thought it all may have been a weird dream, but it wasn't! No coincidences! :) He is doing really well and is still getting into a routine over there! I will keep you all posted on him as much as I can! :)

Update on the Roley's

Hey there!

Well, again it has been a while since I have blogged. I am bad I know, but in my defense I had a lot going on! Here is the latest...

Sooo...RW's family came out to Colorado to visit before he left. So we spent some time with them and toured around Colorado a little. They flew out on a Tuesday and then my family flew in on a Wednesday to help me drive back home to CA while RW is gone. I had a doctors appointment before I left Colorado and they were nice enough to do another ultrasound so RW could see Little David one more time before he left! That was so nice...he has gotten chubby! So cute! I cannot believe that I am only 9 weeks away from having a baby! I am excited and nervous at the same time! Not much longer at all! :)

We spent the next day with RW getting him packed and ready to go. We went and looked around on Fort Carson with my brother and sister, they thought that was the coolest place. RW is my little brothers hero! We went bowling that night and the kids had a blast! They love their brother in law and will miss him as much as everyone else does!

RW deployed on that Friday. It was a tough day, but I held it together pretty well I think. I didn't shed any tears in front of RW, as he requested! After he left was a different story...I balled like a baby! Lol! It is tough with him gone, I miss him like crazy...but we can handle this! I know it!

Leaving our friends in Colorado was sad. We have made the best friends there. It was really wonderful to have 2 couples that we have really grown close to come and see RW off when he left. Martha & Josh and Stefanie & Bryce. They are really great friends to us and we will miss them dearly! When we come back we will have a new edition to our get togethers. David will be about 1 by then! We are in for a serious adventure! :)

We left Colorado the day after RW left...we drove through 5 states in 2 days. We made it to Cheyenne, WY the first day, then to my Aunts house in Utah the next day, then we pushed from Utah all the way to Sacramento to my Grandma's house the next and crashed there for 2 nights. From there it was only 4 hours home! It ended up being about a 4 day trip! BUT WE DID IT!! Now we are home and trying to get back into the swing of things and preparing for baby!!

I had a doctors appointment today here in CA with the doctor who will be delivering the baby. It went well and things are moving right along as they should be. I LOVED my doctor back in Colorado and wish I could have brought her out here with me...but I guess they don't do that! Lol! I do like the doctor I have out here. He is a nice guy!

That is about all I have to report as of now....I will "try" and do better about updating and letting everyone know what is going on. This is a great way to do it, I just need to take the time to sit and just do it! :)

My life as of now....

Well, I just thought I would update everyone. Things here are going okay. We are currently staying in a motel for the time being...

Today is RW and I's last real day together, hopefully we can have a nice evening when he gets off work. His family flies in tomorrow and will be here for a while.

As far as baby news goes, things are going well. David is getting bigger by the minute....I feel huge. He is a busy little guy! We are getting closer and closer to his arrival. I am sad that RW won't be here for the delivery, but that is just how it is. I guess we will have to have more kids so he can be apart of those delivery's. Lol!

That is a summary of what is going on here. I am feeling more and more stressed as the days go by, but I guess thats just how it goes!

Trip to the Coors Factory

Well, this past weekend was packed full of things to do! We were on the go the whole time! It started on Friday night, we met our friends Stefanie & Bryce and Noi & Visit at the bowling alley. We bowled for a few hours and then went over to Noi & Visit's and started watching a movie. We decided to head home when both RW and I fell asleep. We ended up getting home at about 1 am.

Then on Saturday, we went with Noi & Visit to the Coors Factory in Golden, CO. It is such a cute little town. The Coors factory was pretty cool too. After we toured the factory we headed into Denver to grab a bite to eat. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp. It was fun. We got back to Colorado Springs to Noi & Visit's house at about 8pm. Then I got a text message from Stefanie and she wanted me to come over to their apartment to dye her hair. So....we went over and did that, didn't leave there until about 11:30pm.

On Sunday, we got up early after the time change and headed to church. After church we went over to Stefanie & Bryce's house and had lunch. Noi & Visit came over too. RW had stuff he needed to take care of on post, so he and Bryce went to take care of that, and Stef and I went to get more hair color for her hair because that girl has some THICK hair! But after the second coat, it was looking good! Well 5 pm rolled around really quick, thats when evening church service starts and Stef and I were not done with her hair yet, so the guys went to church before us and we followed shortly after, we had to rinse all the color out! After church, we went to Cracker Barrel with some friends from church. Got home at about 8ish....it was a very busy weekend! We enjoyed every minute of it. It was nice to be out doing things than to just sit at home! We had a good time! :)

Baby Roley

Okay so as I mentioned before, we are expecting our first baby! We found out that we were pregnant on December 15, 2008. We found out at a recent doctors visit that we are having.....A BOY! RW was so happy!! LoL! His name will be David. We are sad because RW will be gone in Afghanistan when he is born. But hopefully RW will be able to get out to CA on his R&R to see the new edition to his family! :)

Roley Update!

Hey there,

Okay, so its been a while since I have been on here. Things have been pretty busy. Since I was last on RW and I found out that we were going to have a baby, we have been to Alabama for Christmas, he went off to Louisiana for some training, I went home to CA while he was gone, and now we are back. Since we have been back we got away for a weekend and spent some time together...there is never enough! Now life is somewhat back to normal. Other than we are getting ready to pack up and move out of our house, because RW is deploying sooner than we thought. So it is going to be an interesting next few weeks.

A few weekends ago we went to the Denver Aquarium with the Blacks from church. We had a really fun day! It was a neat place to visit. We saw a shark eat another fish and everything! :)
