Our Friday Night

So while I was out with Laura and the kiddos, Stefanie....one of our friends from church called and wanted to know if RW and I wanted to hang out with her and her husband Bryce. We of course accepted! We went bowling with them...we had a good time. They are a fun couple. We have been out with them a few times, and after our night we have talked about getting together every Friday night.

After we went bowling we grabbed a bite to eat, and then they came over to our house and we watched Jeff Dunham's Christmas DVD. Hiliarious! You should watch it! So all in all we had a great Friday! :)

My Friday

Hello again,

Well on Friday, I was invited to go and hang out with Laura, Emma and McGinnis. We had a fun day. We went to McDonald's for lunch and then went to a fun crafty store. I took care of McGinnis for Laura, so she could get some stuff done and help Emma. I had a really fun time with all of them! :)

Christmas Cookies!!

So, on Monday Natascha came over and we made some sugar cookies. We had a good time, we also made our own frosting and made pretty colors. It was nice to have someone to make cookies with.

Hey there!

Well, on Saturday RW decided to suprise me and decorate the house with lights while I was at the store. It was sweet, but while I was at the store he called and said that he needed help. So home I went and we hung up the lights. :)

Roxie was outside with us the whole time and she had a blast. She was rolling around in the snow and playing, but she was freezing, so I bundled her up in 2 sweaters. Then she was fine for a while, but eventually I found her in the house snuggled up with RW's jacket. She was just too cold! Lol!

RW had gone to the store before me that morning. He went and got some lights and the big suprise was the 8ft snowman! He's HUGE!! Our house is definitely the most decorated on our block. It was a fun day! :)

Let it Snow....

Well, when Roxie and I woke up this morning we were greeted by lots of sparkly snow! It is coming down hard and doesnt seem to be stopping anytime soon. I am hoping not to go out in it today. It is one of those days, I just want to curl up on the couch and watch movies....

Well, hello again...

It has been a while since I have written...sorry about that! A lot has happened since the last time. We have moved into a really nice townhouse, and we love it. We have tons of space for everything! Since I was a little girl, I have ALWAYS wanted a house with stairs....now that we have it my thighs are killing me! If RW or I need something from upstairs, we will beg each other to go and get it for the other person! Haha!! I know it is sad! I should have thighs of steel here pretty soon! I don't think Roxie is a big fan of the stairs either....LOL!

We had a great Thanksgiving with some familes from church. We went over to Larry and Sharron Ozburn's house. Some other familes joined us as well. Colorado Springs being a military town, most people do not have their families around for the holiday's, so we all kinda get together! After dinner, we all went and played with the Wii! Larry and Sharron got it for themselves as an early Christmas present! We had a BLAST!!! I think we played Wii for about 5 hours! I am SORE!! It is a work out. One of the families that was there was the Black Family, they have a 3 year old little girl named Emma and a 3 month old little boy named McGinnis....Emma is my little shadow!
She is the sweetest! I just love her! We are now BFF's! LOL!:)


The day after Thanksgiving....

RW took Roxie and I down to Manitou Springs...we walked around and looked at all the little shops. Roxie LOVED IT!! She was able to get out of the house and sniff other dogs butts! She was in heaven! We had to bundle her up though, on Thanksgiving we got our first BIG snow, so she was plugging along in it! She really loves the snow, she even left some "yellow" snow behind for the other dogs to sniff! Lol! !We took a drive through Garden of the Gods, just a bunch of rocks(for those of you who dont know)We saw some deer, Roxie was going nuts, she wanted them so bad! RW,(we refer to him as Daddy when it comes to Roxie)let Roxie sit on his lap and drive! It was so cute! :)


So....that about sums up what has been going on here...just getting used to the married life. I am really starting to like it here in Colorado! I have made some friends since I have been here....one of them is Sara, her husband and RW are in the same unit. I met her at an FRG meeting. Her and I went and CHOPPED our hair off together! I am finally getting used to it! BIG CHANGE!! LoL! Well, that is all for now! I will try and get on more regularly!! :) Hope everyone had a great holiday! :)

Hello everyone!

Well, we made it here to Colorado! Thank goodness. It was quite a drive, I slept most of the way....that made it go a little faster! :)
We are getting settled in and are for the most part. We have applied for a town home, it is really nice and is in a good neighborhood. Hopefully everything will work out, we should know if we got it by next week.


Roxie(my puppy) is adjusting to the move. She wasn't really sure what to think at first. She is definitely RW's dog now. They have bonded. He loves her....he tries to tell people that he doesn't...but HE DOES!! :) He has been in the field all week, and called me the other night. He asked me what Roxie was doing...I told him that she was sitting right next to me, then he asked me to put it on speaker phone so he could talk to her!!! I was laughing so hard because I was hearing... "Roxie, hey girl!" It was great!! We are a fun little family! :)



I am on the job hunt, trying to finish a few things on my resume and then off it goes! I can't wait to find something, I get pretty bored here during the day and you can only clean a little apartment so much! Lol...its CLEAN!! :)

Well, that is the latest and greatest with us. RW gets home today from the field! I am excited to see him, I have missed him....Roxie has too! :)

My Fair Experience!

Well, the fair is in town! I have been 3 out of the 5 days so far! I am SO exhausted!

It started out with Gabe' (my best bud), Heather (Gabe's sis) and I went to the Clay Walker & Steve Holy concert...but unfortunately Clay Walker had to cancel because his wife had their baby 2 weeks early. You really can't blame the guy for wanting to be with his family. His band was still there and they played a bunch of fun songs instead, and then Steve Holy came out. It was a fun show, I really didn't know many of his songs but it was a fun time just the same! We were right up against the stage and he even grabbed my hand...now if it was Clay Walker who grabbed my hand I would be a little more enthused! Lol! :)

The next day....

Mom and I took the kids to the fair, it was finally their turn. My friend Gabe' met us there with her little boy Trent. Grace rode the mechanical bull, which was the cutest thing ever! She's got guts! Jefferey and Grace had fun riding the rides, Grace even got me on one with her! We also got to see the Budweiser Clydesdale's. There was also a Tiger show, Grace got her pic taken with one. After all of that, we went out to dinner to Casa Ramos. Gab and Trenton joined us too! :)

All in all we had a great day. It was exhausting but fun. I think I was a little more tired because I had to come home and then get ready for work...the graveyard shift! Ugh! I only have 2 days left of work! Whoohoo!! :)
